STAMEQ's Director General Ngo Quy Viet giving a present to Mr. Deniel Vangheluwe on the occasion of the visit 

On 2nd February 2009, Vietnam Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) worked with Experts of Italian Institute of Quality Marking (IMQ)- Mr. Deniel Vangheluwe- Manager of the International Development Department and Ing. Paolo Morelli- International Consultant at the STAMEQ's Head office. Receiving the delegation were Dr. Ngo Quy Viet- STAMEQ's Director General, Representative of Units under STAMEQ: International Cooperation Department, Quality Assurance and Testing Center 1 (QUATEST 1), Vietnam Certification Center (QUACERT).

The visit of two experts is to look for cooperation development opportunities in the fields of testing and certification. At the work, two partners have briefly introduced to each other about the organization structure, functions and tasks, products and services. At the present, two partners have exchange on the draft of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation and intended for signing MOU on the cooperation principles first. After discussing and specifically finding out what kind of products and services for export of two countries, both signs will sign a MOU on certification and testing for these products and services.
