On February 11th, 2009, Dr. Ngo Quy Viet- Director General of Vietnam Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) presented Prof. Dr. Manfred Kochsiek- Expert of the Component 6 "Standards and Quality Insurance�, the European Technical Assistance Programme for Vietnam- ETV2 with the Certificate of Merit for the Cause of Science and Technology on the occation of completing this project in Vietnam.

At the presenting ceremony, Dr. Ngo Quy Viet would like to express the sincere gratitude for the very nice and helpful cooperation and assistance of Prof. Dr. Manfred Kochsiek for a great contributions to the development of Metrology work in Vietnam and wish him and his family good health, happiness and success in his new position and hope to receive this continuous cooperation and assistance in the time to come.
